• New Tutorial
o Added a tutorial to let players get a grasp of basic mechanics.

• Boss Core Changes

o Boss Phase Mechanic
▪ When the boss changes phases, the health bar will reset.
o Boss Health
▪ Max Health split into two values, Phase 1 Max Health and Phase 2 Max Health
▪ Phase 1 Max Health set to 2000
▪ Phase 2 Max Health set to 3500
o New Animations!
▪ Phase Transition has been polished!
▪ Ultimate Attack has been polished!
o Changes to Shield
▪ Shield health decreased from 100 -> 35
▪ Shield size increased by 20%
• Boss Attack Changes
o Spin Attack
▪ Changed to a single hitbox
▪ Total damage dealt changed to 40
▪ Gave the attack visual feedback
o Swipes
▪ Hitbox increased in size by 15%
▪ Damage decreased from 15 -> 10
o Slams
▪ Hitbox width increased in size by 20%
▪ Hitbox length increased by 12%
▪ Gave Slam-Wide visual feedback
o Bite
▪ Applies stagger on hit
▪ Increased hitbox duration by 5% on start-up
o Laser
▪ Increased tracking speed from 30 -> 80
▪ Increased damage from 5 -> 6
o AoE
▪ Damage increased from 5 -> 20
o Ultimate
▪ New timings for the intervals between each Wave
o Ultimate Charge Pillar Projectiles
▪ Increased frequency and range
▪ Damage increased from 5 -> 10
• New Ultimate Charge Functionality
o When charging the ultimate, Penathos now submerges to the middle of the arena and resubmerges.
o The duration of the ultimate charge was increased.
o Scaling of the ‘basic combo’ when attacking Penathos’ shield was increased. (Deals less damage).
o Scaling of the ‘ranged attack’ when attacking Penathos’ shield was decreased. (Deals more damage).
o While the Ultimate Charge is active, the shield now pulses and will send the player into the air.

• Player Core Changes

o Movement Speed
▪ Player’s movement speed decreased from 1000 -> 800
o New Animations!
▪ Dream Stab has been polished!
▪ The Basic Combo has been polished!
▪ The Run has been polished!
▪ The Idle has been polished!
• Player Attack Changes
o Dream Stab
▪ Damage increased per charge increased from 40 -> 50
▪ EX damage increased from 100 -> 200
▪ EX charge delay increased from 0.75 seconds -> 1 second
▪ Stagger damage decreased from 50 -> 15
o Dream Slash
▪ Impact damage decreased from 35 -> 10
▪ Tick damage decreased from 11 -> 0
▪ Stagger tick damage decreased from 6 -> 5
o Ranged Attack
▪ Damage decreased from 20 -> 10
▪ Essence cost decreased from 3 -> 1
▪ Stagger damage increased from 0 -> 10

• Bug Fixes
o Fixed AoE VFX de-spawning when colliding with player.
o Fixed most instances of collision between the player and the boss that would result in the player being thrown across the arena.
o Fixed most instances of the Boss submerging out of the water, outside bounds.
o Fixed the Boss not attacking the player after either being staggered, charging the ultimate, or using the ultimate, during Phase 2.
o Fixed most instances of the Boss not attacking for a period of time after using the ultimate, during Phase 2.
o Fixed hit registration issues on the Dream Stab.
o Improved performance across all instances.

• Sound Changes

o Added Main Menu music
o Added Phase 1 music
o Added Phase 2 placeholder
o Added a multitude of new SFX

What to expect for v2.3+:
• A larger, more expansive tutorial
• A more accessible tutorial
•QoL features for the tutorial
• Higher polished animations
• Pretty, beautiful, and amazing UI and plenty more...

Known Bug
• Version number says 2.01 instead of 2.02
